Who Is BlinkSky Jamaica?

BlinkSky Jamaica operates from Kingston and is a registered affiliate of BlinkSky International which is based in the USA. BlinkSky Jamaica allows persons to send and receive Digital Cards from Jamaica and the Diaspora. BlinkSky Jamaica also partners with local merchants to provide Digital Cards for loyalty programmes, employee rewards, tickets and coupons as well as e-commerce solutions for small, medium and large businesses. 

What Are BlinkSky Digital Cards?

BlinkSky Digital cards are a revolutionary digital product that allow customers to send or received Digital Stored Value directly to a mobile phone via SMS or email.  Customers have the option to send a text or video greeting with each card, which enhances the gifting experience.  Digital Cards can be redeemed online or in-store. Over 1200+ Digital Cards are offered from your favourite lifestyle partners on the BlinkSky Jamaica platform.

How Do I Send A Digital Card?

Customers can send a Digital Card through “Send a Digital Card” button or click on the gift box icon on the left had corner of the screen on any device. Provide the recipient’s mobile number, add text or video message (optional) pay and send.  Mastercard Digital Cards are only available in the US. We will update our customers when it is available in Jamaica.

How Fast Are Digital Cards Delivered?

Digital Cards are delivered within seconds via text message and can be used online or in-store. Best of all, the recipient does not need to download an App to use the card.

Can Recipients Change Their Digital Card?  

Yes! Digital Card recipients can do a one-time change to some BlinkSky Jamaica cards. Customers will be made aware of the cards that cannot be changed.  Exchange can only be done with cards issued at similar dollar value.

 How Do Recipients Redeem A Digital Card?

Recipients can redeem a Digital Card in-store or online. For in-store redemptions, simply display your card on your mobile device, allow the cashier to scan the barcode or enter the card number. Manual entry of the card number requires entering a PIN. Your PIN changes after each redemption.  For online redemptions, simply copy and paste the redemption code received when checking out and any additional PIN or event code requested.

How Do I View My Digital Card Balance?

Tap your Digital Card to view the reverse side. Your current balance is displayed at the top of your card. For your convenience, balances are updated in real-time for all merchants where applicable.

I See “Verifying Transaction”, What Does That Mean?

This status means that additional information is being reviewed to ensure the security of your transaction.

How Do I Verify A Successful Transaction?  

The screen displays a green sent signal at the end of each transaction. Customers may see a charge from BlinkSky with your banking or credit card institution. Digital Cards are delivered in real-time to the recipient’s mobile for immediate use. The recipient does not need to download an App to receive a digital card. Recipients will receive a text message containing the digital card along with any personalized text message.

Do Digital Cards Expire?

There isn’t an expiration date on most cards. We recommend that you check the description details on the back of your card to verify if the merchant has an expiration date.

Occasionally, some transactions may require additional verification; this helps to prevent unauthorized charges. If you are asked to verify your identity, please understand that we are ensuring that you—and only you—are interacting with the platform provider. Verification helps us to protect your account and keep the platform secure.
